Sweet, beautiful Reyce... what can I say?  We caught you on a bad day; you didn't know who this weird lady with a big camera was, and you needed mommy and daddy.  We took a magic little car ride out to a gorgeous nature walk path, and you just loved being out in nature!  Then mommy brought you to Kearney and we had a wonderful mini session at the Frank House, and you gave me such adorable smiles that I could not click the shutter fast enough to keep up!!

You know, I love what I do because I just love life and all the realness that comes with it!  I really loved getting to know Brooke and Ryan; they are very kind and loving parents, and I am so thankful they were willing to let me have a second go with Reyce (who, can I just say is so amazingly adorable?).  Thanks for sharing your time with me!

Rachel and Wade are such a sweet couple, and it was so fun to spend a beautiful evening with them.  Wade is a great sport just nodding along with whatever Rachel and I were wanting them to do... THAT'S what you want in a man you're going to marry! ;)  I just had a blast with them and cannot wait for their wedding in December!  Thanks you two!

Makenna Jade is such a sweet little baby, and so so so beautiful!  She was welcomed with so much love by her mommy and daddy: Jessica & Josh  ...and oh my, they are so in love with her!  I especially enjoyed watching Jessica with her brand new baby girl, because I know Jessica from all the way back to sorority recruitment her freshmen year, and she has been a great friend every since.  Congratulations Jessica and Josh on the arrival of your perfect baby girl; you are so blessed!

So today I realized that I have to start getting organized for my big 1 year in business anniversary! (coming in June!) As I started to think of this, I got a little overwhelmed thinking the usual things you do about yourself: "wow, how exciting... 1 whole year already!!... oh no what will I do to celebrate? ... what if no one likes what I do?  ... what if it is an epic fail?!?"  then I took a breath (realizing I was being overly dramatic, because like me, my clients are too busy to "over-care") and thought about what I wanted to start doing as I go into my second year in business.

I decided that I want to incorporate more of ME into what I do, because I absolutely LOVE people!  That is my passion and it has been then center of joy in my life since I can remember and in order to allow others to let me in and spill joy into their hearts, I need to let everyone in to see who I am ... but brace  yourselves... it ain't gonna be pretty all the time (or maybe most of the time, haha).  I'm about as real as they come. ;)

So as I was thinking of this, I decided to introduce my family to you since you will be seeing a lot more of them.  I hope to create a happy place for you to visit a few times a week: to let your hair down, see the real-ness that everyone is and have a good laugh!

My beautiful baby (well, she's almost 2!!) girl, Leonella.  She will look and smile if I sing to her, and yes her is is this AWESOME all the time! ;)
